Why two doors, not a bundle
Two distinct jobs, two distinct buyers: protect your people, or win enterprise deals. You buy a specific product, not a bundle to grow into.
We used to sell “KnytX for Business” as a four-in-one enterprise bundle under one SKU: identity and access management, executive PII removal, breach monitoring, and compliance dashboards. It tried to be too many things to too many buyers.
What we actually see, talking to organizations, is two distinct jobs with two distinct buyers:
Protect your people. A security or IT team wants to shrink the personal-data footprint that makes their employees easy to spear-phish or impersonate. The buyer cares about seats, coverage, and admin control. That’s Shield for Teams — $9.99 per seat, per month.
Win enterprise deals. A sales or revenue team loses weeks answering the same security questionnaire over and over. Or it has no public trust page to point a prospect at. The buyer cares about deal cycles, not seats. That’s KnytX Trust — $0 to $249 per month depending on team size.
Most organizations start with one door. Some need both. Either way, you’re buying a specific product for a specific job — not a bundle you have to grow into.
What survives from the old “one contract” pitch
If you buy both Shield for Teams and KnytX Trust, we cover them under one agreement, with a single data-residency commitment and one customer-success contact. That’s a contracting convenience for buyers using both products, not a reason to buy either one.
What’s not in scope
We don’t sell IAM/SSO as a standalone product anymore (see FAQ), we don’t offer a full GRC platform, and we don’t replace your DPO or legal counsel. Say your need is a general identity provider, a full ISO 27001/27701 toolkit, or legal opinions on your compliance obligations. We’ll tell you that during the sales conversation and point you to who can help.
