How to remove yourself from Spokeo
Spokeo lists your addresses, phone numbers, and relatives. Here is how to opt out.
How to opt out of Spokeo
- Search your name on Spokeo and open your listing. Copy the profile page's web address.
- Go to the opt-out page (link below). Paste in your profile address and your email.
- Solve the CAPTCHA and submit the form.
- Open the confirmation email from Spokeo and click the link inside — the request is not final until you do.
- Repeat for each address you've lived at. Spokeo keeps a separate listing per address.

What Spokeo collects
Current and past addresses, phone numbers, possible relatives, and an estimated age.
What we'd tell a friend
One of the more straightforward removals in this set. The catch is that Spokeo keeps a separate listing for each address you've lived at, so a full removal can mean submitting the opt-out more than once.
Why this can come back
Most people-search and aggregator sites re-crawl their public-record sources on a rolling basis. An opt-out removes today's listing; it doesn't stop the site from re-pulling your record the next time it refreshes. That's the reason removal is something you check on periodically, not a one-time task — see our full removal guide for the re-listing mechanics in detail.
