KnytX — pronounced Knight-X — takes its name from cnyht, the Old English spelling of “knight.” We kept the original form because we believe in protecting what’s original. That means your name, your address, and your personal data, before data brokers strip it away and sell it. The shield icon, the flagship product (Shield), and the mission all point the same way: KnytX stands between you and the threat.

KnytX is a privacy and security platform, built by the NCRYPTO Labs team — semiconductor security engineers. We serve users across the US, Europe, UK, India, and Australia, with data processing in the EU. We build tools that protect people and businesses from data brokers, identity theft, credential leaks, and online tracking.

We believe privacy is a right, not a luxury. Your personal data — name, phone number, address, financial records — is bought and sold by hundreds of data brokers without your knowledge or consent. KnytX exists to find that data and get it removed.

What we build

KnytX Shield — our flagship product. Once you’re in, Shield finds your personal information on data broker sites, people-search sites, and sites that compile public records. It submits removal requests for you, checks the data actually comes down, and re-files when brokers re-list you.

KnytX Vigil — dark web monitoring. Once you’re in, Vigil scans breach databases, paste sites, and dark web marketplaces for your credentials, financial information, and personal data. When it finds a match, you get an alert with specific guidance on what to do.

KnytX Relay — hide-my-email service that generates unique email aliases for every site you sign up for. If a site gets breached or starts spamming, disable that alias. Your real email stays private.

KnytX DNS — private DNS resolver that blocks trackers, ad networks, and malicious domains at the network level. Shield removes data that’s already been collected. DNS stops new data from being collected. Works on any device — phones, laptops, routers, even IoT devices.

KnytX for Business — two products, not a bundle. Shield for Teams removes employee data from brokers, per seat, to cut spear-phishing exposure. KnytX Trust automates buyer-facing security questionnaires and hosts your public trust page, so you win enterprise deals faster.

Cybersecurity services — penetration testing, hardware security assessment, and ISO 21434 automotive cybersecurity consulting, with hands-on hardware-level expertise most software-only firms don’t have.

Why KnytX

Most privacy tools are built by companies with conflicting incentives. Some are owned by ad-adjacent parent companies whose real business is at odds with your privacy. Google offers “privacy tools” while making roughly $200B a year from advertising, powered by user surveillance (its own annual reports). Even well-intentioned startups take VC money from investors who push them to sell data when subscription growth stalls.

KnytX has no advertising business, no data brokerage, no adtech partnerships, and no investors who profit from tracking you. Our revenue comes from one source: people who pay us to protect their privacy.

We can’t profit from your data — not because we’re virtuous, but because our business model makes it unprofitable to betray you.

KnytX Mobile — the iOS, Android, and F-Droid apps — ships under GPLv3 with reproducible builds. Privacy software you can’t audit is privacy software you have to take on faith.

What sets us apart
